Video Style (Treatment)

The style of our video will be of modern story and setting with maybe an old twist. We could experiment with our video with functions such as the filter over the video adding a contrast between a modern set video but visually would look older. I have put an example below:

Colour Pallet (Treatment)

With the time period our song was created in, we decided instead of changing our surrounding such as the props we are going to put a modern twist using modern bright clothing and regular modern day props. We may try an effect over the video when editing to add an old twist on our modern day setting. The colour overlay we may use when editing our video will be black and white, not allowing you too see the original colours that were in the original footage. I will show an example below of similar video:

Idea

We had an idea which is, When our actor gets into the car he turns on the radio and our chosen song starts to play, thus starting our music video.

Animatic

This is our animatic, giving us a basic idea for timing through our video. We've found from doing this that we need to think of more shots through our video, but we will try and get more footage than we need to maybe extend shots as there will be moving objects compared to the still pictures which are less entertaining.

Risk Assessment

This is our risk assessment. We did this to look at all possible dangers that could happen while filming. There are some sections on the risk assessment sheet that I know are not going to be used or in use at anytime while filming.

Music Video age rating

Recently a law changed has occurred which now gives music videos an age rating from the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification). This now gives each music video that now comes out an age rating, which is similar to how films are categorised. With our music video we now have to make sure that our video meets our audience age, making audience research important.
